I have heard good things about smittybuilt brushgaurds. They are not that expensive and they can plow through anything. (Well, not everything.)

brush guards arent pushbars, push bars are attached to the frame and usually have supports running around to take impact(cop cars are excellent examples). brush guards are usually attached to the bumper horns and will fold over in a serious accident they are for protecting the grill from branches and other things that cause trail damage and also used for appearance.

Most pushbars are usually custom made for broncos, if you mean protecting the front from like branches and things to that nature i would get a brush guard.

I have a Westin on mine, bolted tight and I can still move it by hand! Had a Smittybuilt on my Dakota, much stronger, but not impact worthy. Had a Westin Safari Bar on my Jeep GC and it took a pretty solid impact once. I even strapped to it once to pull myself out of a mudhole.
