I am interested to know if a brushguard from a 2000 F150 will fit a 1996 bronco. I understand that anything can fit with a little ingenuity and welding, however, im curious if it is a direct fit may just some spacers or something. thanks

My assumption is that it will not work based upon the body changes from 97&up. there was a brush guard available for sale for a good price, hence the question. Figured someone on this site has attempted this due to the amount of modifications I've been reading about. Wife will freak if I get something, again, that doesn't fit and see's me doing what she calls "wierd stuff" to make it work. But, it's always worth needing new tools!

if you've got a welder and a grinder you can look at just fabing up something from scratch I used this warn product as a template and started making one. I've got my bumper brackets finished and painted I just need to cut out a template for my two uprights but work on my other projects has been slowing down the bush bar.

Here's what you do.....get the part, do what your wife calls the "weird stuff" to it. When she freaks, tell her it's because you wanted to save money so she could buy shoes. Then give her a 20 and she will leave you alone...........................till next time.

GOOD LUCK!
