Sorry about the newbie question..... But I can't seem to find a decent brush guard for my 89' bronco. Why can't/what modifications would have to be made for a 93' to fit? Thanks for the help.

The frame rails in the front are much different as is the bumper mounting location. Both are part of a strong brush guard mount. I used to have a Warn trans4mer guard and winch tray for my 95 I am not sure if they are still available for the 89. THe big change happened in 92 with the crumple zone.

Thanks. Did not know there was that big of a difference. Any idea where I could pick up a nice brush guard/push bar? I've tried evilbay, bronco graveyard even google. Have found some nice bumper combos but at 1k that's mighty steep.

You can look at heftyfab.com he has some great products but it also can get to the 1k mark. It migh take a bunch of Craigslist trolling.

Or if you know someone who can weld, usually they have good measurment skills. Take a used brush gaurd off CL for cheap, and use that as a base to build around.

Then bedliner it or have it powder coated and you have yourself a custom built, nice brush guard.

On my 96 I have a SETINA Bronco/Ford truck Police/Military style Push Bumper PB100 16" Steel model, great Qual, powder coating has held up A#1 over 13 yrs,
SetinaPB100PushBarona96.JPG

Check yards locally for a junked police car w/the Setina PB100

was under $150.00 incl s+h in 97.. It has the steel angle cross bar for mtg. lights, sirens, auto weapons, etc.

Powder coated steel, has not rusted - on beach and in surf, pushes well of course.

Setina Model still has da "Replaceable Mar-Resistant Hard Rubber Push Pads " & now they offer em in custom colors & looks like they are pushing da alum model now, but call them to get the steel unit.
