Hey folks, I'm fairly new to the bronco world, I just bought my first beast November of last year from my boss. She's a 94 351 5.8. Love her to death. Sadly, she hasn't received much TLC over the years, and is in dire need of money I don't currently have. A couple of months ago my rear driveshaft dropped out. Nearly broke my heart. I had her towed to the hospital that day and within the week she was roaring along again. Ever since I got her I've been a huge fan of this site. You guys have been a source of inspiration and have probably kept me from doing tons of unnecessary work over the past few months. Finally decided to make an account on here so I could become a part of the bronco world. Look forward to the great conversations I'm sure we will have. I'll post some pics as soon as I can, but she's in pretty poor shape body wise. TENNthreeper over and out.

Yo TENNthreeper93,

Welcome!

Here are some wiring diagrams (partial) and Technical Service Bulletins, same as by Ford

http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd

96 Bronco-F-Series Workshop Manual (PARTIAL) by FORD via

http://www.diesel-dave.com/vehic/manual/stj/stjleft.htm

Same as most earlier years especially 92-96, except for: OBD II in 96; 4WABS (93-96); RABS (87-92); Air Bag (94-96); 3 ***** Automatic Locking Hubs (Built from May 95 through 96); Spark Plug Wire Routing & Firing Order (The firing order for 1987-1993 5.0Ls is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. The firing order for 1994- 96 5.0Ls & all 5.8Ls is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.); R134a in 94-96;

2-piece Spindle Rolling Diaphragm Seal (RDS) used on 5/95 to 96 Broncos & F Series 1/2-ton 4WD;

and a few other items that I still need to research such as Mass Air Flow in 95 5.8 California models and in all 96s, other years used Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP).

Check with local dealer to see if cruise control recall was performed, have VIN ready.

Enjoy your Bronco!

Seabronc, your truck is gorgeous. I need everything you've done to that beast. Drivers side body mount has rusted through the floor panel, a couple of trouble areas on the rear body mounts, decent hole in the rear floor panel inside the "bed" near the tailgate. Fenders are ridden with cancer. Doors need work, hinges, locks, etc. Rear window gave out, not sure if it's the motor, rails, switch, corrosion, or what. Would like to replace the grill with one similar to what you've got.

Thanks to both of you guys though for the welcome, I really love this site. Great folks with great minds.

Yo TENNthreeper93,

YW!

Post each issue separately in 80-96 Ford Bronco Tech Support section for better visibility.

Thanks for the advice, definitely will. I'm not worried about all of that at the moment though, don't have enough cash flow right yet. I just want my baby to run. Already have to wait for payday to get that VSS. Hoping that fixes it. If not, I have a good lead. I figure if it isn't the VSS it's definitely the PCM or PSOM acting up. I know it isn't mechanical. Hopefully I'll be able to beautify the old girl soon though.
