Ok well after I got my axle seal fixed I was going to try out the 4 wheel drive. Well when I started it up and pushed the brake it went to the floor adn the brake light came on. So we bleed the brakes and still nothing. The pedal still isn't any better. Some times the light comes on and some times it doens't. It has got a new master cylinder on it,(which doesn't mean anything), none of the wheel cylinders are leaking. The pedal feels fine except it doesn't stop before the floor. You can go down the drive way and jab the brakes and it will barely skid a tire. I have new stainless brake lines coming with my lift kit so I know that will not be an issue. What do you think it could be? Oh yeah when you have the pedal pressed and mash the gas the brake pdal wants to push back up. Thanks for your help guys.

sounds like you have two different problems first would be possibly the power brake booster that's the only way that I know of the brake pedal being affected by the gas pedal

now for the second check for the master leaking into the booster at the back may be both are the same but for the year truck am kinda winging it so if it has four wheel drum make sure the brakes are adjusted at all four you will get no or low pedal if way out of adjustment also when you did the master did you bench bleed it and then bleed at all wheels good practice is to run the master down about half way for each wheel refilling between wheels

hope this helps let us know what you find

Well it has disc front and drums rear. I don't know about the master cylinder since it was changed before I bought it. We bled them and some had air in them, but on the way home when I bought it the brakes were fine. But now since I fixed the axle bearing and seal leak the brakes ****. I guess I will check all the vacuum hoses and then go from there.

You might also want to check the valve that goes into your brake booster and the rubber brake lines on the rea and at your calipers. They will colapse and cause you alot of troubles.
