I have a 1976 Ford Bronco with a brand new Centech wiring harness. I have a few problems. The brake lights stay on unless I unplug the brake light switch even if the key/lights are turned off. My column is a hack and I am getting ready to change it and do not currently have any hazard lights. Should I go with in dash or try to get the new column (out of a 1979 full size bronco) to work. Finally, The turn signals work when the lights are on but the marker light that doubles as a turn signal does not work. It works as a marker light until I turn the lights on. Finally, the brake light switch wire does not work with an aftermarket proportioning valve from west coast broncos. It has two terminals in an oval connector whereas the aftermarket proportioning valve only has a one pin in a round connector. Thanks in advance. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Actually, if I were you, I'd call Centech's technical support. If the brake switch has there possible connections, I'd suggest that you have a wire on the wrong contact. If not then the switch is either defective or missadjusted so that the contacts are closed. I'd say that the hazard switch solution is personal choice. Do you have a double filament light in the marker light? that is the way most combination lights are designed, one bulb with two filaments, one for marker and one for turn signal. The design of the after market valve may not be compatable, two terminals suggests making contact for a hot lead while a single contace suggests that is is designed to complete a ground circuit. Without any diagrams to work with the call is not possible.
