It looks like I'll be getting one more Bronco from a friend of mine that I visited with tonight. he has an 85 Bronco, freshly rebuilt 300-I6, 4-sp manual, new paint, etc. May make this into a hunting rig, but it also out tows my 84. Also sold my 85 Chevy K10 to another dude. One more CHevy left to sell!

Ford 3:Chevy 1 :D/

Not a bad idea!!! I know that AutoFab makes pre-runner fenders for the 92-96 body style Bronco.

Right now, I'm using my 98 Chevy to pull a 15,000 pound fertilizer nurse tank on the farm. The 85 Bronco with that little ole 300-I6 can pull that same tank, in the mud. :^o No LIE!!!

I got the title tonight, it's actually an 86 Custom model. Transmission code is "A", rear axle is "H9" (Ford 8.8", 3.55 gears w/ L/S). Tires are shot, but I have a set of 33's to put on her. Need a new tailgate and some bodywork, but mechanically she runs like a top!!! Interior is nice!!!

I'm open to any suggestions on this one, since I have an 88 Bronco body that I can swap with. I really would like to put a 500+Hp 351C in my 84 Bronco to race with, put the 351W H.O. and 88 body into this 86, and still have a spare 302 V8 and C6 on hand. I kinda like the 300 I6.. :-"

Blade262US, thanks for posting that!!! After reading some of your posts about the 302 motor, I might sell the 300 I6 and build up the 88 302. What do you think about a stroker kit for the 302, mated to the T-18 manual? Do I need a stronger tranny and t-case for that much HP? What are you running with your set-up?

I took a couple of pics today:

I ID'ed the t-case as a NP208, but didn't see a tag on the tranny. The shift pattern is:

1 3

2 4 R

Hey Justshootme84 looks like youve got a good start to another project there . I actually have all 351W,s now in all my trucks except my bronco2 I had to pull the 351w I had in there out because of exhaust issues so I built a 1986 302 ** out of a lincoln sport coupe and put that in there but it has aluminum motorsport heads and all the goodies . I would suggest that if your going to build a 302 that you find an older one for the bottom end the cranks in tha early 70,s motors are way heavier and in my opinion more suited for a truck and then use the heads off an 86 ** if you can find some . I will post pics of the differences in the combustion chambers so you can see what Im talking about . I wouldnt use anything other than a 351W in a truck anymore if I had to build another one . There not much bigger than a 302 physically and parts are no more money to rebuild them and they produce more torque . I am however putting a 351C in a 1999 ranger quad cab just to see If I can get it in there that should be fun maybe Ill post some pics if anyones interested . A C6 and the borg and warner T case will hold up to that motor just fine its a very good T case and a C6 is very strong you could use an E4OD after 95 because it has all the updates and then buy a stand alone conmtroller from baumann engineering but its alot of wires but its really cool once its done you have complete controll over the tranny . But if you want a 302 then I would definately get an early 70,s and build that . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
