Hey guys, Thursday I got in a no-fault. noninjury accident since someone swerved into me to try and avoid someone who slammed on their brakes and turned without a blinker. My damage consisted of a broken blinker/light, the body part that goes under the light and grill, busted in front fender over the tire, and 4-5 pretty deep scratches.

Since I'm still in High School, my dad has offered to help me pay for the damages since they talked me out of a Police report (For Insurance Sakes). The question I have for you guys is about paint. Once i get these scratches repaired my dad said we might just paint the enitre Bronco if its reasonable (a friend who is a painter at Boeing may do the work) and I could help pay for it. If this does happen, Im stuck on two color options. I could either keep it stock Black with the Eddie Bauer Tan trim or switch it to the 92-96 Maroon (Anyone know actual name or paint code?) with the 94-96 Eddie Bauer Bronze (Once again Paint Code?).

Just thought Id ask your guys' opinion and maybe if you knew the paint codes you could throw those my way ;)

The first picture is of my Bronco and the second is the Maroon color I like.

Thanks guys,

Boomballs

well I think its way too pretty like that and needs some character like minor damage, but hey... thats just me.

I would say the black looks alot nicer, but its harder to hide imperfections, the maroon would make it not as noticeable, if you are going to do the whole bronco you might as well design your own style instead of keeping the ugly tan body lines ( but keep the pin stripes) once again thats just me.

the bronco is your canvas, its yours to recreate. don't get in a rush, take your time and find something that really suits you and the bronco.

Cheers

I think they both look really good. I know up in Michigan I seem to see alot of the Maroon and the Green Eddie Bauers, not to many of the black.
