I am thinking about a 2 inch body lift. my bronco only sees mud, and not often enough. I have 33 12.50s on it now and will more than likely stay with these for a while. is there a easy way to relocate my front bumper and what about my 4x4 floor shifter? it is already on the floor when in 2 wheel drive ( it is NOT electronic) and it is not even near straight when it comes through the floor, it is setting flat down on the floor. any help would be great. sorry, it is an 87

Cant tell you alot about the shifter thing cuz I am not familiar with the design on those. I can tell you that the 2 inch body lift is ok. Just don't go over 3 inches. --Vince.

You have a little room to move your front bumper up, but the bottom lip will hit on the frame. For a 2" lift it might not look too bad. For the back one you don't have too many options besides some diamond plate. The *best* option would be to fab up some new brackets which would take care of those issues, but that's a lot of work.

As far as the shifter, you're going to have to take it to a machine shop and have them weld a piece of stock in the linkage to give you an extra 2". You're going to have to do this for the 4x4 AND your gear shift. If you have the skills to do it on your own, then by all means go for it.
