I have a 95 full-size EB Bronco with 351, auto transmission, manual hubs, and push button transfer case. I installed a **** Cepeck 3" body lift on it and followed the instructions as best as I could (wasn't the best instructions in the world). After completing the install the transmission and t-case both shifted fine, no binding or so it seems. Going forward everything is great, but when you go in reverse and accelerate fairly fast there is a grinding sound that can be felt through the steering wheel. It gets even worse when I try to back up in 4x4. Feels like something is in a bind and I don't know what. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!

never does a truck any good

:D/ suspension lift is the only way to go :D/

maybe try and get one of your friends to look under the truck and see if any thing is rubbing or hitting anything when the engine torques over axle flex or any thing like that and make sure the steering shaft isn't touching anything

goodluck :)>-

one more thing check the transfer case mount mine was bad alittle while ago and it made for some strange noises.

Took my truck to the shop and the mechanic found the problem. He said that the engine was hitting the firewall and that was causing the grinding sound. Anyone else out there had this problem with their body lifts? Anyone got any solutions other than taking the lift off or beating the in the firewall???
