Black Smoke and Silt

My 1984 Bronco II has a few problems. Like the black silt and smoke comming from the exhaust pipe. It only happens when you first start it up. Anyone know what this could be? Thankx

Or maybe fuel leaking down into the cylinders. If carbbed, rebuild carb. If EFI (possibly late '85), overhaul/replace injectors.
