If I understand correctly.., you'll need;a 3sp. manual bell housing.,

a 3sp. manual flywheel.,

---&---

you'll need a bronco pan.

thanks that is what i thought. the pan never crossed my mind though thanks ill be getting all this together soon. is there a difference in two style of bell houseings? is one better than the other?

If I've got it correct., there's a I-6 bellhousing & trannie., V8 housing & trannie., & a V8 C4 auto-trans. housing.

They're all specific & equal in quality.

You may need the oil pick-up tube & screen as well.

Jeffs Br. graveyard..(right coast) & Toms (left coast) has everything you need "used" & will see that you get it right the first time. And/or the bone yards may have what you need but may need to hit 2-3 of them.

---Oh.., & there's a starter dowel-plate needed for a 3sp. manual.

Be 100% positive that the engine in the Granada is a 1980 and not a later one. Ford changed the imbalance starting in 1982 (I think it was that year) from the earlier 28oz to a 50oz. The flywheels are different and are not interchangeable due to engine balancing. You will need to change the flywheel regardless since the clutch sizes are different. IIRC, Mustangs, Granadas, etc, used smaller 10.5" clutches and trucks/broncos got the larger 11" clutches to handle the extra weight of the vehicle. I put a 89 5.0 ** in a 72 Bronco and used a flywheel from a 90s Ford F-150 along with the matching clutch. The flywheel from the Mustang couldn't be used nor could the bellhousing. To compensate for the larger diameter clutch, you have a larger diameter flywheel. As such, the car bellhousing won't fit and you'll defenitely need a Bronco V8 bellhousing and dustplate. Hope that helps some too. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
