just wondering if any of you bronco maniacs out there know what causes the problems im having? Whats happening is when its cold,it seems like it slips a little then it gos and slams into second hard this happens for like 5 minutes or so then it seams fine,is my tranny starting to take a crap on me?

thats what it sounds like. i just replaced my trans yesterday!! had the same simptoms. took it to 4 different shops, and they all said it was the pump going out and for the cost of replacing the pump, for just a couple hundred more i could replace the whole unit. if i'm right i would guess you have an a.o.d.
