AOD shift linkage

I recently purchased a 72 Bronco that had been converted to an automatic. Once I changed out the steering column I was ready to hook up the shift linkage. I have dsicovered that the automatic is an 85 AOD. I have made the throttle linkage work with the TV cable but can't get the shift linkage to work between the AOD and the column shifter. What am I doing wrong or what do I need?
