code 122 is for tp sensor and 22 is for map/baro out of self test range. i dont think either of these will cause a no start they might cause driveability concerns. i would double check you have enough fuel in tank for pump to pick up. not sure on what type of new pump u got. some come as an assymbly with sending unit and some are just the pump and you have to put it together and put the little hose on the pump and pickup tube i have forgotten to tighten the clamps on these hoses and had trouble so that would be a possibility. you can spray carb cleaner or brake clean in the throttle body and try to start to be sure it is a fuel issue you are fighting and then diag. from there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but like a FSB, I believe you will find two fuel pumps in the 87, one in the tank and one on the frame rail. If the tank pump fails you will have no fuel to the frame rail pump. Disconnect the frame rail pump and see if gas is being supplied to it.

Good luck,

:)>-

Ok I dropped the tank installed a new pump. now I get fuel to the high pressure pump. With the hose not connected to the high pressure pump lots of gas squirts out, however, now I get no fuel from the hp pump. I just returned the pump got a new one and still no fuel from the high pressure pump.

You really dont need the intank fuel pump...... the pressure pump is plenty... if it goes out you can take the pump out completely (to avoid restriction in the lines) and just run a fuel line from the rail on the sending unit to the botom of the tank....

TO BLEED THE SYSTEM: Its easier to do it if you have help/// have some one depress the valve on the fuel rail with a MATCH STICK while you prime the pump,,, just turn the key from off posetion to koeo,,, you should hear the pump running for a few seconds then cuts off..... just do this on/off cycleing untill fuel squirts out of the rail.... then you should be good to go.....

i would test your old intank fuel pump with two wires directly to your batery if it does anything then its probably good... but its probably not worth pulling ur tank again?!?!?

Hope it helps

If the feed line is getting fuel from the low pressure in tank pump, but no fuel is being pumped through the high pressure pump and its running, than double check the wiring. I've seen some of the after market pumps have the wiring reversed. Pump could run backwards and be sucking where it should be blowing.
