http://www.truckperformance.com or http://broncograveyard.com offer a huge variety of parts and accessories. As for the filters the K&N is always worth it to me. Every truck that I have had ran better with one in but you might as well buy the filter kit and add some really kick ass performance. I've found that at Advance Auto parts for $179!

I was looking around and couldn't find any make, model, year

specific filter kits for my 84. I was wondering if there are any,

whether it was the time to create a custom intake with a tapered

cone filter, or stick with the round filter up top.

ive been impressed with the K&N i have in my 87 stang. feels better than stock. and i notice a difference at the pump.

on another note, thoes tornado things... they work pretty good 2, the old man has 1 in his '97 expidition w/ a 4.6 and it also seems to add some power and fuel economy. just another thing to consider.

Nobody makes one of those cold air kits for a ford truck/bronco before I think 94. I've been looking for my 82 for several years. You said yours is efi so you can still get a k&n filter to replace that square element of yours from autozone or pep boys for about 70 bones. Or you could get one of those cone type ones like they use in the kits, hose clamp it over your rubber air hose and take out the filter box entirely if its a 460 efi. Just put a piece of pvc pipe inside to give it something hard to squeeze down on. If its a 302 with the dual tubes i dont know what to tell ya. Dual cones or maybe a pvc "Y" fitting? I've never had a chance to look at a 351w with efi to give suggestions.

I have a 92 w/the 302 and here is what i did ,

it has dual tubes ,any home depot sells pvc pipe, dont buy and "y" adapters or any thing like that.

1)lose the airbox

2)go to home depot and buy a length of 1 1/2 pvc pipe(its very cheap) buy the "wedco " rubber sleeves in the same spot of the store.get a couple of pvc 90 degree turns.

3)pvc goes together like butter,it glues and you can get that a home depot also.

4)it is pretty simple run two new tubes attached to you intake tubes down along the drivers side of the radiator, buy two k and n filter cones and rock and roll,YOU HAVE DUAL INTAKE COLD AIR.

if you want to get cheap buy a "y" adapter at the end and only ONE :)>- cone filter, and the cones i bought were 3" so at the bottom you can again buy a "wedco rubber adapter to go from the two sizes.be sure you get the filter out of the engine ,they want fresh cold air so let them have it!

the home depot stuff will run about $40.00 , the cones are where it gets pricey, but you can get "imitation " cones on ebay real cheap(like $5.00).

i did not get cheap ,if you want to be cheap with the cones why bother,i have k and n's and to answer your question

YES YOU WILL FEEL THE DIFFERENCE!,IT WILL BE MUCH LOUDER THAN STOCK WHEN YOU HIT THE PEDDLE,AND BE SURE TO EITHER BUY BLACK PVC OR PAINT THE WHITE STUFF,you dont want to open your hood and have every plumber on the block laughing, although this is cheap and works as good as any kit you can buy.

BEST OF LUCK!
