Air conditioning question

does anyone know how much PSI should be in my air conditioning system? im going to recharge it and i don't want to over or under charge it

This is not as much a question of psi as iit is a question of how much freon to put in. Im not sure of the exact amount it should be on a sticker located on or near the accumulator/drier on the passanger side of the vehicle. It also must be charged using a set of refridgeration gauges charging through the (blue/suction) low side.

it says something like 12 ounces....but i have a psi gauge for the a/c system

i work on ac 12oz is about 14psi i think but how to tell is get 2 people and one puting it in the truck wile its running and some one felling the air on the inside until the compressor kicks on when the air temp gets where you want it stop you cannot put to much there is a releaf vaulve on it
