Ok, the guy who had the bronco before me switched from a 351 to a 289 hi-po. The ac compressor doesn't mount up to the old mounting bracket. I'm unable to find a a/c compressor bypass pulley for it. Any suggestions? More than likely I have a feeling that I'm going to have to fabricate my own pulley huh?

yo,

try http://www.partspros.com/a-c-bypass-pulleys.html

PartsPros.com recently added the full line of Dorman A/C compressor bypass pulleys to our extensive and expanding inventory.

An A/C ypass pulley is an alternative to expensive air conditioning repairs. Most late model vehicles use a single belt to drive the water pump, alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor. When an A/C compressor fails and locks up, it will break the belt and leave you stranded. Until recently, the only solution was to spend hundreds of dollars to replace the compressor and repair the A/C system. Our bypass pulleys have changed that. Simply unbolt your A/C compressor and bolt in one of our brand new bypass pulleys. This will get your vehicle going again for a fraction of the cost of an A/C repair.

Our bypass pulleys are designed to bolt on just as the original compressor did. You can even use the original compressor bolts and belt in most cases. If later you decide to repair your A/C system, simply remove the bypass pulley and bolt the compressor back in place.

Our A/C bypass pulleys also offer a great weight savings for off-road and racing applications.

To find the correct air conditioning compressor bypass pully for your vehicle, simply enter your vehicle year, make, and model in the menu above..."

I did a quick search... guessing...
