just wondering all of the hardwear i am going to need to turn my open 9in with 3:55 gears into a limited slip, keeping the same gear ratio of course. Just need a list of the parts i am going to need to buy or if it will just be easier to find a whole rear end, even if that is the case i still would like to know the parts to buy, thanks

Depending on the shape of your existing 3rd member, you could just need the "True Track" or the like.....around $400

You can get a complete "drop-in" pumpkin for around $900

Check Toms Br. parts (west coast)

or

Jeffs Br. Graveyard (east)

They can advise as to bearings shims...

Some folks just bolt-in the true-track & go...some choose to re-do the whole pumpkin while it's apart.
