I just found a 96 351 auto that had a cruise control fire. The int. is melted gone but the running gear look great. Thinking of putting all that under my 87. My front and read ends are about to come apart and a injected 351 would be nice to replace my wore out carbed 351. Only thing is i dont know if the computers lived through the fire.

I can get the whole truck for $500. so can beat that.

GL with it...!

Look around local yards for wiring harness if needed etc. The PCMs are avail at yards too; get one that matches the Calibration Number on the driuver's side door jamb

Pull the old PCm and ck for damage.

what else can I add in 3 seconds before I lose my Comcast lousy conn?

bbl ot Saturday

After some research and thinking I do believe I will just swap the bodies. Put my 87 body on the 96 frame. All I need to worry about then is the body harness and connections.

Well went to look and pick up the 96 and the fire started in the engine bay. The intake was melted the block had all kinds of heat marks on it. All i could maybe save would be the trany and front , rear ends. So i passed on it.

The bronco is in AZ the NW corner if anyone is interested.
