Hi all,

Just found the sight and have a problem that I hope I can get some help with. The rear window on my 95 bronco keeps getting stuck going up and down. It goes part way then gets stuck, but if I wiggle it some it will start moving again. Any thoughts or input would be greatly welcome.

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure that there is a switch in the tailgate that senses whether or not the tailgate is up and locked to insure that you don't destroy the window by trying to close the tailgate with the window already up. Check to make sure that the plastic around the striker isn't worn preventing you from getting a solid lock. If not, hit the books and check you voltages and grounds. It's not a terribly complicated system back there. It is a pain in the ass to get to some of that stuff though. The switch should be on the inside of the tailgate near the tailgate latch.

Make sure all of the linkages are lubed. My 90 wouldn't work at all but when I hot wired the window to go down it would make it half way and stop. I found out that the square plastic sliders where the window linkage runs in a track on the window were stuck nearly solid. Once they were cleaned up and lubed the window went up and down great.
