When in 3 gear or higher on the free way my bronco will all of a suppen jump like 2000 Rpm's. everything was good until a week ago it did it about 3 times. What should I check, how shoul I check what are possible probs......would like to repair my self if it is not incredibly hard, I have limited mechanical skill but can handle most stuff.....any help would be great....Also I was stuck in the snow in 4low and not all my wheels were spinning...again it is a 95 bronco with the 5.0, manual tranny.

Not sure about the 2k RPM jumps never had that happen same set up 302 5 speed.

As for the snow. Unless you are running lockers (does not sound like it) only 1 front and 1 rear will spin at a time. All the power goes to the wheel with the least resistance (traction). Also 4 Lo tends to give TOO much torque for snow you are better off in HI and even trying to start out in 2nd gear to reduce the spin factor.
