I'm working on a 1993 Bronco (EB edition) with a 351W. I have disconnected the battery, air intake manifold, the radiator, exhaust, (loosened) engine mounts, and drained engine oil. The next step in my book(haynes) says to disconnect the "Engine Front Instulator -to- Support Bracket" see section 19. The only problem is there is no section 19. If anyone can think of anything else needing to be disconnected and if they know where the engine front insulator is plz leave post asap I have to have truck up and running by tonight. Thanks.

WELL YOUR BEST BET IS TOO DISSCONNECT THE FLYWHEEL FROM THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND DISCONNECT THE TRANNY YOU CAN'T LIFT THE ENGINE HIGH ENOUGH TO GET THE OIL PAN OFF TO GET TO THE OIL PUMP IF THE TRANNY IS STILL ATACHED . GOOD LUCK AND DON'T FORGET TO PRIME THE OIL PUMP BEFORE YOU START IT ... LATER

this is what all data says to do

Remove the bolts attaching the fan shroud the radiator and position the fan shroud over the fan assembly.

Remove the upper intake manifold.

Raise the vehicle.

Remove exhaust manifold exhaust pipe.

Disconnect the oil cooler line at the left side of the radiator if equipped with an automatic transmission.

Remove the nuts and lockwashers attaching the engine support insulators to the chassis bracket.

Drain the crankcase.

Loosen transmission mounting nuts.

Raise the engine and place wood blocks securely under the engine supports.

Remove the oil pan attaching bolts and lower the oil pan onto the crossmember.

Remove the two bolts attaching the oil pump screen cover and tube to the oil pump. Remove nut attaching oil pump screen cover and tube to the number 3 main bearing cap stud. Lower the oil pump screen cover and tube into the oil pan.

Remove the oil pan from the vehicle.

I don't know what the insulators it's talking about are . but i see removing the upper intake will give you the clearance u need.. just pay attention when your jacking up the engine that nothing (lines/wires etc...) are streching or getting hung up on anything..
