92 bronco eddie

I've gotta chance to buy a 92 bronco eddie bauer. It's got 280 000km on it (168 000m), no service records and it's going for $3900 (about 3200). This is from a used car lot. Of course the sales man is giving me the "I'm gonna be honest with you" line, and "I've got another lady comming back to see it". The only thing I saw wrong with it is the valve cover is leaking and there's a rip the the backseat. Gonna try out the 4x4 when I take it for a test drive.

Any comments or suggestions would be great. And if there's any major problems that happen after 280k

Engine failure? I personally wouldnt pay that asking price. Just my opinion though

It sounds a little shaddy, because the guy wasn't too quick to tell me about what kind of maintanance this truck has had. He didn't say if anythings had any work at all. With an unknown background and history, he's not gonna get that much for the truck. I'm not gonna drop that kind of money to be surprised by it's problems.

yea, what you is do it how i found mine, i just asked around, and wound up finding one that had been sitting for about a year with 160000 miles on it, and pay dirt cheap.

mine is a 90 eddie bauer with a 351w, and i got it for 600 dollars. the guy just wanted to get rid of it.

hey im bronco shoppin too. i would let him know that your lookin at another with less mileage and less problems for the same price. lying doesnt hurt nobody unless you get caught. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Besides, therell probably be other broncs.

Yeah sorta beat him at his own game. I wouldn't pay anymore than 2000cdn for it. There's no record of any work done to it whatsoever. It wouldn't be such a prob, but it could cost a whole lot more than 2k if something major goes. Buyer beware.
