92 bronco dies after heating up

i have a 93 bronco 4wd 302ci that after running down the road for approx. 3 hrs will backfire and stalls will restart after 30 min cooldn,no other problems runs good till this happens.can any body help.

That is the classic symptom of a bad pickup inside the distributor.
