Bronco.jpgI have a 1991 Bronco with the 4,9 6 cylinder. (It has a 4" lift)

The manifolds are split front 3 cylinders, rear 3 cylinders. Trying to figure the best way to improce the exhaust.

Should I run a collector to a 3" with turbo muffler or 2-21/2" dual exhaust?

Any experienced suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

How much u wanna spend?? you will need a cat to pass emisons so.. what i would do and it is what i am gonna get on mine is a cat back system with a duel out muffler like a flowmaster 40 or 50 suv series. i'm will be going with the 50 series because i want mine quieter. u might want the 40 being a 6-cylinder.

OR you can purchace theese headers http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...rchItemId=36787

and then have a local shop bend the pipes into true duel exhaust with two mufflers with or with out high flow cats. it's up to you but the first way is cheeper :D

Thanks for the input...****** always has been pricey. I don't have to pass emissions in Indiana but probably smart to consider. Just trying to get the smartest choice to let it breath a little better./ Have the K&N filter/snorkle for the input side. If I were to run duals, I should probably do a cat back with possibly "test pipe" in the cat. space.

Thanks for the input.
