My bronco used to have alot of power for a 5.0. But now 2nd gear 3rd (where most of my power was) 4th and 5th are different. I cant tell if its engine or training related. Just recently had a four inch lift put on it. Now i have a SERIOUS vibration in the rear..Whole nother issue...I really think its engine related. Thought at first that it might be cadilytic converter but i dont have one. Flowmaster from front to back. True duel exaust. I really love my bronc and want to get it fixed. It only has 96,000 miles on it. Can anybody help me with this issue please?
yo David!
I suggest having the Bronco checked for Diagnstic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for Free at a local parts shop;
Have all lights & Accessories Off.
Be sure that they do the KOEO = Key On Engine Off portion first;
then, engine @ Normal Operating Temperature before doing the KEY ON ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) portion
or DIY;

Post any DTCs found here and then we'll see what other tests are involved
What is the spark plug/wires condition? pull a few plugs and compare it to this;
Spark Plug Inspection & Diagnosis Source: by autolite.com
Same for Timing.. hear any Pinging on acceleration?
Last distr rotor, cap, etc check or replacement?
So many possibilites so lets inspect and test for DTCs first
