'89 axle for my '95?

can anyone tell me if a front axle from a '89 will fit my '95 or what i need to know to figure it out? Thanks

It will fit just fine but will require a different caliper . The 89 has the wedge style and the 95 has the floating pin style :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks. Found a guy on craigs list that was parting out an 89. He only wanted 40 bucks for the front left axle! All the junk yards in the area wanted 300. Now I guess I just need to find the caliper. Any suggestions on where to get one cheap? or I suppose I could just buy 89 pads. Thanks again!

EDIT- duh, I could just use the one off the axle I'm taking off. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got a 1995 EB with a complete front end on it. I will sell you the correct one but the hubs don't lock but you can get it for $100.00 if you still need one.
