alright guys i love my bronco, but i just dont see it being road worthy. im 16 about to get my license, and i have spent alot of time making her look good, but their are so many things wrong with it i dont even know where to start, the brakes do not work, at all and when the did they where frozzen so th wheel heat ed up to 1,00000 degrees, i fixed transfer case but now it leaks the lift kit sags on the front passanger, the rear does not aline with the axle so it shakes when i let off the gas the motor stalls or doesnt idle and shifting is harder than any thing i havedone before no exuast rear bumper bent bad holes in the floor aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!

There I clicked the pictures, did your truck blow up? My friend if your just 16 and just about to get your licence do everyone a favour and do not drive that truck. From the sounds of it you need about 1500.00 work just to make it driveable. Driving is a huge responsibility, you have enough to worry about when your learning how to drive never mind if your equipment is junk to begin with. Its great you picked a Bronco but its unsafe, don't put yourself at risk or someones kid just because you are overeager to drive. Its not worth it. Either get it fixed or wait until you can buy something safe.

The first thing I would do is get a new master cylinder for the brakes. then replace the brake lines and so forth and so on. I am sure you already thought of all that. I wouldn't think that those things would cost all that much. Not that hard to replace all of those either. I remember when I had to replace lines on my old Yota they came pre-bent. As far as the stalling and idle I would say invest in a new Carbuerator. Sounds like the one on there is just old and gummed up. You can always just get a rebuild kit, and clean it really good, but why waste time. If you love it and are planning on keeping it just get a new one and be done with it. Heck you can even go bigger and add a couple of ponies. Holes in the floor are an easy fix. Cut out the rusty edges and go to Lowe's and get some diamond plate sheets and have at it. I am assuming that you are simply wanting to make it driveable and not beautiful. It looks good. Remember - where the pavement ends is where the fun begins.

I wasn't trying to insult you at all, you really dont need to get all offensive I was trying to help. My first car was a 67 Volkwagon Bug, then a 75 Maverick. Ihave had Many vehicles all were junk. I worked my ass off trying to keep my cars safe. I had a Datsun 710 with no brakes that I drove for about 5 months. Had a hole right through the windshield, and the starter didnt work, so my friends had to push my car and I would pop the clutch to start it. I paid $25.00 for that car and sold it to the autowreckers when I was done for $45.00 My Bronco is not the prettiest thing out there but safety is a cercern and I have spent many dollars trying to keep it road worthy, not because I cant afford anything else, Its because I love the Bronco. I'm sure you know how to drive just fine, heck I was 16 too, I was ready for nascar when I was 16. Now I'm 31 and I havent been in an accident yet, put a couple cars in the ditch but never even spilled my Beer. I wasn't trying to insult you, just trying to steer you in the right direction, dont be so sensitive this isnt an angry place.

Oh and since you would love to see pictures of "My piece" Heres a link to my supermotors page.

Keep you're bronco and fix it up, you've already come this far why quit now??? You have a different car to drive right?? So take you're time with the bronco. It may not get finished for a few years, So what? When she's done you have a nice truck and can enjoy all the hard work. Besides when you're 30 and driving a beast of a bronco some 16 yo kid might see it and think" I want one" And you will be to thank for keeping some kid from buying a honda. Just my opinion. >

By the way my first car was a 74 f-150 "high boy" given to me on my fourteenth bday after my granddad TOTALED it I spent three years buckin hay to get the $$ to fix that thing up. Nobody ever said this hobby was easy but it is worth it if you like it!

There is so much love in here... :((

Now I know for sure even though they didn't put it in the Bible. On the Seventh day God went four wheelin' and it was in a Bronco. I love you guys.

Keep and fix it up, my first vehicle was a Bronco, and I was stupid and sold it when I graduated. WORST MISTAKE EVER, now i just bought another one for 800 bucks and will be fixing it up for the next year to restore it for my kids.

If you have another car, then go for it!
