83 - 84 bronco tailgate question

There is a 83 to a 85 ford bronco at the local junkyard and I want the back window. the question is, is there any secrtets to getting the window down ? the headlights and dome lights work so there is power but being in the junk yard there is no keys to turn the ACC on to use the window switch.

If you remove the panel on the inside of the tail gate, you can jumper the motor. Leave the window partially up so you can reach the 4 bolts on the bottom brackets, (2 each). Also, remove the weather stripping and end seals, that will make getting it out with the brackets attached easier. Same when putting it in your bronco, remove the weather stripping. It probably would be a good idea to get new weather stripping from some place like Jeff's Bronco Graveyard or LMC truck.

How do you jump the motor? do you just take some wire and run it directly to the battery? or what

Right, make the connection one way and if it doesn't move reverse the connection.
