Welcome to the Zone > . Hmmmm, the I6 is a pretty powerful towing and off road engine. A lot of people on the forum have them and love them. However, if you insist, you will have to change engine mounts, get an engine electrical harness for the 351 if you don't already have one, the radiator is different and of course the exhaust.

I'd go for the HD A/C style radiator even if you don't have A/C because it cools better. Consider puting in an electric fan and electric water pump and save the HP for the wheels. I have a Lincoln Mark VIII fan conversion on mine and plan on an electric water pump as soon as I make up my mind which one to use. The advantage of the two conversions is extra HP to the wheels and fuel economy at the same time.

Good luck,

:)>-
