hey

this is a stupied question but will a 4inch from a 1980 chevy work under my 79 i just bout or can i rig it so it will work

NO it won't because broncos use coil springs in the front and chevys are leaf in the front

You can make it work. I'm building a 79 right now with leaves in the front. Just depends if you wanna do the work or not. Really all it takes is hangers on the frame and mounts on the axle, you'll just have to figure where and how you want em to get everything to line up right. You may have to change rear hangers too if you got the kit with new rear leaves also, if its blocks then no prob there but axle wrap. But if your gonna fab up the front you might as well build some ladder bars for the rear. If you can't do the work youself it'll prob cost a bit for a shop to do all this and with 4" lifts for our trucks being so cheap you'd prob be better off buyin one of em.
