i have a 78 bronco wit the 351m and auto tranny i need to know what vacuum lines need to be hooked up in order to drive and what not and i want as less vacuum lines as possible....right not i have the pcv hooked to the carb and pvc to a 3 way split to the vacuum advance and the tranny vacuum lines....could this be the problem why my bronco wont hold an idle for about 2-3 seconds? or would it be the ignition control module????

The vacuum advance should be hooked to the carburetor. There should be a small tube on the left side near the top. a line should go from there to the distributor connection. I could be more specific if I knew which carburetor you have.

Good luck,

I should have asked you th last time to post some pictures of your carb. One from the front of the truck, left side, right side and back, there are some variations in a lot of carbs so it would be better to see it. Also, please reduce the size of the pictures to around 900 x 768.

You should have a calibration chart showing the vacuum system that was on your engine. On that chart, they will show you the proper place to connect the distributor vacuum advance.
