I have a 74 bronco with a 93 mustang cobra engine that I am having issues with enough space to install the fan or an electric fan. I am using a bronco radiator that is around two inches thick. The motor has a superfine belt and all of the brackets from the 93 mustang. I only have 2-1/2 inches from the front of the water pump to the radiator. Any ideas on why I dont have enough space?

Hi Bo.., welcome..!

I'm not familiar w/that engine. (so I can't help much)

More info. might help others advise you.

What size/block is that eng. ? (302.?)

"The motor has a superfine belt"

Assume this is a surpentine belt..?

All I could add is (I think) some mfgrs. offer a stub nose water pump.

(Check that..., I think this is Corvette only)

There's a 1/2" fan spacer available. (if not done already)

There's also an electric water pump.

---One mfgr./supplier might be Summit Racing----

HTH..,
