I've got a '96 Bronco. I have a trailer with surge brakes, and the trailer has a 5-prong connector. I can't find a harness that provides a 5th (reverse lights) prong anywhere. The 5th prong acts to deactivate the surge brakes when you're in reverse so that the brakes don't lock up when you're backing up.
Does anybody have a source for a pre-made harness with a reverse light 5th prong ?
Worst cae, I guess I'll tap into the the reverse light harness and splice a 5 prong blade onto the existing 4 wires plus the new one.
