ok...now ck the VSS ensor and the EGR Valve Position Sensor
i changed the egr valve, evp sensor, vacuum modulator (shifts alot better)i got code 41 so i changed the o2 sensor (it was nver changed) and i'm going to change the vss and rabs sensor this week. it runs a little better but i think i have a vacuum leak when i drive at slow speeds i hear a sputteing sound when i put it in drive to drive it doesn't respond that well but when i manually shift it i runs a little better but once i reach 45-50 mph and i put it in drive it starts to slow down and i have to floor it to keep it at 40 but if i put it back in second it will go 50+ no problem. i'm going to take it to the auto shop on base and try to fix the nuetral switch

Dude, he's told you 157 times to check the VSS. I agree that sounds like the most likely problem.

look @ the VSS connector & esp. look for any bad wiring there before buying a new unit; also, maybe just a cleaning of the VSS sensor may fix that problem
