302 Replacement ideas

Hey guys, my 1974 302 has finally laid down and will need to be replaced. I'm not in the position to install a Coyote, nor do I think i need that much power in a Bronco. What is everyone using these days? Crate engines like a Blueprint or best suggestion if being economical but impactful?

Are you wanting new or used okay?

Figured the next time I was going to do an EB I would find something like a Mark VII lincoln with a 5.0 and swap it all over to the bronco. You can hear it run, drive usually and have everything you need to update.

If you want to stick with the old school cab stuff then I am not sure how to pick a crate motor now a days.

it is really hard not to just do a LS swap ...... but putting a LS in a Bronco just seems wrong.

The LS is cheap reliable power.
