The 302 heads use 7/16 head bolts and the 351w heads use 1/2 inch head bolts so to put 302 heads on 351w you have to drill the holes out to 1/2 and to use 351 heads on a 302 you have to get these special step washers that edelbrock makes . Unless you the set of heads you want to swap in has a way better combustion chamberdont waste your time the valves are the same size and they wont flow any better . I put 1986 5.0 ** heads on my 351W and it runs very good but the combustion chamber is more of a swirl design so it had definate benefits . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

on the same token has any one tried to put the intake from a 351 lightning on a 351 bronco and if so what has to be done and what would the benefits be on that set up?
