:)>- hey everyone. iam looking for any info. on how to convert to 3/4 ton or 1 ton axles in my bronco? i know i will break parts if i start to wheel the trails i want to. plus looking to but 40 inch tires under it for mud bogs. so someone please help. <)

Rear will be a bolt in no problem . Front well finding one is one thing then fabbing it in will be a trick doable with the right tools though . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Right, there's a sticky thread in the general 80-96 Bronco forum on "SAS" or straight axle swap. I'm currently swapping both axles from an 88 F-350 under my 84 Bronco, using a leaf spring set-up in the front. If you can weld or have some welding done, it's simple to fabricate a front crossmember for the leaf spring mounts, and use the front-rear hangers with the rear spring shackles bolted or welded to the frame. You can also use a coil spring set-up in front with radius arms if you want to do more work.
