I'm wanting to put 29" Thornbirds under my 86 BC2. Will 2" of lift do the ticket? I'm also thinking about cut finders, and putting fender cut out flares on it.

Thanks for the advice.

I have 31" tires on my 89 BroncoII. 2" lift was plenty with the addition of rear coil-over shocks. The lift came from a stock Explorer suspension. Not sure what year Explorer. You will have to check into that part. Gave it a great ride.

I would think rollin stock you should be able to run 29's....my son run's 35's on his 92 explorer with a 6 inch lift on it...so yeah 31's should fit great with a 2 inch lift...if you want to go that route instead.....good luck.... :)>-
