Hey guys i've been looking at 2.5-4 inch lift kits so I could fit 33's. The major thing ive been debating on is price. So I came across this kit of $200.99 http://www.jcwhitney.com/jcwhitney/product...&id=2573842

and was wondering if it included either blocks or springs since it does not specify.

Any info you guys have would be great, even if it is suggesting another brand 2.5 inch lift kit. Id just like it bo be rear springs not block.

Thanks, :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

One other question for your guys. Whats the difference or is there any difference with rear-add a leafs or block kits?

Thanks, :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If you look at the left of page, you'll see the letter (F), and the footnote says rear blocks and u-bolts. It doesn't look like shocks are included.

Thanks Bronc, I was gonna guess it was just blocks since RC website doesnt have rear spring 2.5 lift for Bronco. Just hoping, did really want to end up with block but its look more attractive with the price and since its the size I want.

I'd go for the add a leaf or replacement springs, it will reduce spring/axle wrap up.

When it comes to suspension, im pretty much clueless. What is it that you do when you "add a leaf", ive seen this kits but only understand the concepts of blocks or springs. Never really looked into add a leafs.

an add-a-leaf is just another leaf spring that is added to your stock springs to add lift to the rear. The kit should also come with longer u bolts that wrap around the axle and hold the springs.

Nevermind, I guess Ill decide on whether I want the 2.5 Inch with Blocks or 4 Inch with rear springs. Id love to get the 4 inch but I also wanted to get new wheels and tires when I put a lift on, so itll come down to that I guess

One more opinion question. Do you guys think that a Pro Comp Stage 1 Suspension Lift with rear add a leafs (http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Suspensions-Shocks/Stage-I-Susp-Lift-Kit.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=38&t_pt=5491&t_pl=1808&t_pn=EXPK4069B) is better/same/as worse ride and quality as a Rough Country Suspension Lift with Rear Springs (http://www.roughcountry.com/ford_4wd_80-96_fullsize_4.html)

They will end up being the same price since the Pro Comp kit comes with the extended brake lines, Pitman Arm, and Shocks.

Thanks,

Boomballs

PS- I promise one day Ill stop asking questions and buy a lift :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
