hi, i recently picked up a set of gt- 40p heads, upper and lower intake, throttle body, ect. from a 1996 explorer. i have a couple of questions about these parts vs. what i have now, any info would be great ! first,.... will the 1996 heads bolt onto a 1970 302 block with no mods? second,.... are they better than my 58cc 1970 heads, and worth the swap? third,.... can i use the 1996 intake with the older speed density efi computer, harness, injectors, ect. or does that defeat the purpose of swaping to the newer intake? i am running a basic speed density system now and it runs good, but i put an overdrive tranny in it last year and it just doesnt seem to have the power to push itself down the freeway without alot of throttle. thanks for any input.
