Hey guys, need some help.1995 Bronco, driving home the other day the ABS light came on,the O/D light started flashing, and the speedometer quite working all at once.Tranny went into limp home mode.Checked fuses first, and it keeps blowing the #5 fuse in the power dist. box. Also, replaced the rear speed sensor.Still having same problem.Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

See what's on #5 fuse and start disconnecting the component(s), and see when the fuse stops blowing. The problem will be localized to that portion of the circuit.

I never had the need to build one of these, but it looks interesting.

You can try to test for Codes using our pal, BroncoJoe19's process; http://broncozone.com/topic/14269-code-reader/page__p__74587entry74587

run it around to heat the engine up and shift thru all gears incl Reverse.

then; turn off all accesories/lights, etc.

Do KOEO portion first

For Key On Engine Running (KOER) portion, the engine has to be @ normal operating temp.

Post any codes found here or look em up in my broncolinks.com site.

Man I found it!!! I took off the battery cables and found a very tiny split in the negative cable that you really have to wrench to see. It was corroded inside so I cleaned it,hooked it back up and wouldn't you know it worked.I drove straight to the autoparts store and got a new cable, came home and slapped it on.Works good as new!! I knew it had to be something grounding out somewhere and did spend some time looking for it, just not with a as well as I thought. Thanks so much!!!!
