My wife took this to a mechanic a friend hers knew to have it inspected, the brakes fixed and the 4wd repaired. While it was there, they adjusted the shift linkage which was loose. When I got the truck back the trans is slipping. The other night it wouldn't drop into 4th and I couldnt go over 60 on the highway. During regular driving it usually fails to drop into 2nd when it should. I've had the truck for 3 years and the trans has never given me a problem, do you think the mechanic could have caused this? I knew I should have told the wife to wait and that I would fix it myself.
