air pump? what will happen if I remove it?

An it is hooked up to serveral vacume hoses on the rear of the engine?

headers what is the difference between smog headers & not?

there is a pipe that runs off the right stock manifold has a bunch of wires? EGR? I suppose I will have to have smog headers??

removing the catalatic convertor? will it help or hinder ? no problems with my state emissions.

is there a camshaft that will work with a computer controlled engine? Will it really gain me much? I know I cant go like the older broncos and install a radical camshft.....

Or is all this a waste of time & $$$ ???? just install an k& N filter system & airaidespacer & just live with it????

You can do whatever you would like to do but be prepaired to get a custom chip for your computer. The EEC IV system you're running will not like a lot of things added or taken away. If you relly want to get some big HP then take off all the electrical components of the engine and slap on a carb or get a custom chip after you get everything you want done. I think I'll be spending around $400 on the chip I'm going to get but that isn't bad since I have everything done to mine. And also, what I've heard are the spacers are useless.... Let us know!
