So talk to me Bronco aficionados, although it has never been my intention Im thinking I might try and sale my 93 with a 5.8, was originally 5.0 yet already installed when I bought it. 33/12.5R15 & a new 31” spare.(don’t ask). Front quad shock and has Ranchero 5000 all around, probably at end of life cycle. It was my daily driver for over 5 years, but began sitting in 17, until 2020 when Ford got their recently purchased 2019 truck back during covid. I was still working but the redhead said I had to leave! We been trying since the 70s, but I have motorcycles and they needed a garage and Houston area rents aren’t cheap. I was getting ready to start on fixing it up to become my regular vehicle, although I work from home now.
The Good
*Texas truck little to no rust
*Rear differential rebuild by Pyle Brothers, they did racer stuff, due to their proximity to the NHRA track we had.
*New front hubs & springs
*New BBK throttle body (large)
*New headlight assemblies (have original)
*New fuel pump & access hole
*New ECM
*New rear window motor¥
*New plugs wires, cap etc
*New-ish wiper motor, brake booster
The Other
*Salvage title, because of the right rear
*Mileage bar on speedometer totally blacked out, was 167,??? before it all disappeared. By then it had begun sitting so still under 170,000.
*Interior needs work
*E40D gonna need attention, but I still drive it around. I had it lined up to rebuild the week my mother fell at the beginning of 22, that was a 9 month event up to her passing. Then a customer was going to give me one out of his Bronco in Beaumont & lost the contract info. But really no where to do it myself anyway.
I’ve only stated researching, have a number in my head, curious of those who might offer their 2 cents price wise.
