My 1991 Bronco RPM's will rev up about 200-300 RPM's when I come to a complete stop while in drive. This only happens after I have driven it about 20-30 mins. It will stop if I put it in park or nutral. Am Ideas on what could be causing the RPM's to jump.

vaccum leak. mine has a slight leak (3 broken bolts in the manifold) and it lopes like that too, after its driven for a bit. it will affect your MPG a little bit, but i wouldn't worry TOO much. check your vaccum hoses and manifold bolts to see which ones are loose and/or need replacing

Mine is doing the samething but also it will die when I come to a stop some of the time. I just replaced the Valve cover gaskets intake gasket and belt, oh and the rubber hose that goes to the EGR valve from the valve cover. I was thinking Vacuum leak but wasn't sure? I need one of those EVMT books. Anyone got one they would part with :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
