I bought a 88 Bronco.. Drove it 20 miles home. Parked it drove it the next day with the top off with the kids.. Parked it for two weeks went to start it and nothing.. The fuel pump will not run and my fuel injectors have no pulse. I can hot wire the fuel pump and it runs fine. I have checked or replaced. The battery. The Ecm, the fuel cut off switch. Two big relays in the engine compartment infront of the driver. The engine control module on the distributor. I have spark on the plugs it will start if I spray it with starting fluid and cut right off even if I have the fuel pump hot wired. I checked the fuel filter. Checked all fuses under the dash. Im not sure what else to check any thoughts would be great. Thanks so much

I would be looking for ground problems, make sure everything has a clean ground. If that's not it, start tracing from the fuel pump forward & find out where you lost power to it, has to stop & start somewhere. I don't have a schematic for that truck, but i have worked on plenty of F-150's in my day, they are pretty straight forward...

Good Luck

it helps when you know what you replaced when you tell us what you did. fuel pump relay right beside the air filter is suspect number 1( it turns on the fuel pump. the part on the distributor is the ICM Ignition control Module. the fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail , and the ECM is inside the cab on the drivers side. Engine Control Module, or the computer. when my 89 went squirley I swapped out a bunch of parts to find my ECm was toast. but... before you spend any more money I recommend you do this buy a haynes manual and run through the diagnostics for your fuel system and ignition system. then let us know whats going on.
