to tell the truth you'll be better off just buying the front lift only if you use it as a on road driver too. with the TTB frontend there are a few drop brackets used to help keep your front inlined. Even the small 1.5" your looking to get will throw it all out of whack.

yes diffirent spring rates will gain you lift. The cheapiest way will be to find coil spacers. you'll just have to look at offroad places to find them. www.broncograveyard.com or www.jcwhitney.com may have them.

You can get the kits for the blocks on ebay for under 200 dollars with the camber bushings. Its a bit tough though if you don't have axcess to a shop

If i were you id get an entire tru lift, with all the drop brackets, i have an 89 Bronco with 11 inches of lift and my front end would be horrible if i didnt get all the correct drop brackets, alot of ppl knock TTB (ifs) but i love it, sure a straight axle is more sturdy but u gotta work with what you got, so my advice to you is dont just put in bigger coils and what not, cuz youll throw your camber off HORRRRIBLY and be eating up tires somethin fierce

I just purchased a 1989 BroncoII and it has 2 inches of lift with 31" tires. The previous owner said he used suspension from a Ford Explorer. What year I don't know. Might want to check it out. I know it rides real good and has plenty of tire clearance. I just added coilover shocks in rear. Rides even better now.
