I have replaced the whole fuel system (also new fuel), spark plugs, sensors, ignition coil, pickup coil, and relays. Why will my 1986 ford bronco II 2.9L manual stall after reaching operating temperature (keeping in mind it sat for about a year before this rebirth)?

Carburetor or fuel injection? If carb have you replaced/cleaned/tuned your carburetor? If fuel injected, did you clean the throttle body with carb cleaner, or check the position of the idle set *****?

Just a few suggestions to check, although it sounds like you already have these covered . . .

1) 02 sensor: if you haven't replaced this, or even if you have, try disconnecting it

- my BII ran like crap after warming up until I disconnected the O2 sensor furthest down on the exhaust pipe

2) vacuum lines and fittings: any leak in your entire vacuum system could cause this, including PCV valves

- my Windstar ran like crap and gave error codes until I replaced a $.99 vacuum fitting that was leaking

- sometimes fuel system cleaners can dissolve and degrade vacuum fittings making problems worse

3) what gatorbronco said: check the position of the idle set *****

- sometimes just giving this ***** a half turn makes all the difference!

Good Luck.
